With his childhood friend Luna, and companion Nall, he sets off on a journey that soon involves the fate of the whole world. This gives Alex his first chance at real adventure. His friend Ramus catches up to him and tells him of a giant diamond in the nearby WHite Dragon Cave.
Lunar: Silver Star Story begins just like TSS: Alex is a young boy in the village of Burg, dreaming of adventure like his hero Dyne. Most of the other media, such as the novels, drama CDs, and later remakes on the GBA and PSP (plus the port to iOS), are based primarily on Silver Star Story. SSS also has the widest distribution of any of the games in the Lunar series in total, there were 7 different releases on 4 platforms in 3 countries.
